Get some black paper… poke some holes in it… shoot a light through it.. shoot wide open..

We shot in Brandon’s storage warehouse thingy…. It was great… perfect temp indoors… space and high ceilings…

i put a full CTO on the reflector plate in the beauty dish to see what it would do… it changes the daylight balanced flash tubes to approximately 4000K… i like it… i got massive flare from not using the hood to my 24mm… hopefully the postwork hides it… i was really against carrying hoods cuz i have no room in my bag… looks like im gonna have to at least bring this one from now on… dammit…
theres a bookstore across the street from NY pizza on tate… theres a downhill alley right before the bookstore… go down the alley and you get to this open spot… the broken fence area is the “backyard” of this closed store so no one will bother you… check it out… some other nice spots back there… Joe Woo
